First, Cherie, Mommy, and Grammy helped us make our dresses look beautiful with hand-tied bows.
(Clementine thanked Cherie with a kiss)
Then it was my turn.
(I thanked Cherie with a kiss)
We looked so beautiful when we were done. (if I do say so myself)After we were ready, we let Cherie get dressed. Those pictures didn't make the cut, this is a family blog after all, but you'll see how beautiful she looked in a few pictures.
Then, the ceremony started.
Mommy was the maid of honor.
Clementine was the flower girl. (I was offered the opportunity to join here in this role, but decided that I wasn't quite ready for that kind of spotlight)
Daddy was the guy talking through the whole ceremony. I would refer to him by his title, which is Deputy Commissioner of Civil Marriages of State of California, County of San Bernardino, but that's a pain to say and I don't want it to go to his head anyway.
After Daddy talked, Poppop and Randy's dad talked, then Cherie and Randy talked, then Cherie and Randy kissed.
Then people took a bunch of pictures. I mean a bunch.
Grammy gave me a kiss, since I wasn't feeling very well, so while Clementine danced...
...I just slept...
...which means I slept through the toast...
...and pretty much the rest of the ceremony.I've been looking at the pictures, though, and the whole thing looked like quite a bit of fun.
Finally, and most importantly: Congratulations Cherie and Randy.
